 
The credits for these effects come from MANY sources. Those sources, and variations, are noted here. Not all of the effects I have included here are well documented. Should you know more of an effect's history, feel free to email me with the info, and I'll research it and include it here. Star Magic, under "Magic as Entertainment", was found by me in the book "The Little Giant Encyclopedia of Card & Magic Tricks" (ISBN 0-8069-9347-2), by The Diagram Group, page 438. The effect was described as divining the numbers of two rolls of a die, but as I considered it, it seemed better to use a number that was simply thought-of, existing only in the mind of the spectator (not to mention the fact that not many web surfers have dice laying around!), and that also allowed the use of ALL single digit numbers (0-9 inclusive), rather than being limited to just 1-6.
